SAS Advent Calendar
Every December for several years, Scandinavian Air (SAS) has had an "Advent Calendar" promotion. On their website, each day you could 'open a door' to find a destination. And on that day, you could book a trip to that destination at a bargain price. On the 24th of December, all the 'doors' were open and you could book a bargain trip to any of the chosen destinations.

There were restrictions, of course; they were trying to fill their planes during the off-season. Greg and I used it to book our trip to Sweden in February 2003. I enjoyed looking every year, and even though the 'bargain' prices kept going up, it was fun to think: should we take a trip to Helsinki in January? Or Milan in February? It was also fun to read the notes about each destination, and the calendar was well-designed and entertaining.

Well, it appears as though they're not doing it this year. Nuts.

Criminal! I see a grand jury investigation coming on this outrage.
